Gu ute , rear spring tower reinforcement

Post by micka1 »

I've seen this discussed before but can't seem to find any pics when searching on it .
i have a 2001 Gu ute and know these are prone to rear spring tower damage when loaded or towing . i just want to know what people are doing to fix this and how they reinforce the towers .
Any pics would be nice thanx .

ive seen it before, basically just a piece of flat bar between the two towers and then weld a bit of flat to the under side of the cross brace so it doesnt 'bow'
