GU keyless entry problems

I have a 2000 GU 4.2 I'cooled TD. My keyless, remote entry took a dump so I changed the battery & "reset" as per the handbook. It's still inoperative. Can anybody throw some light on this problem?

faulty switch, call nissan service/drop in

have you fitted a turbo timer? if so they can coure problems with your keyless entry on some patrols
