National 4X4 Show Brisbane / WE Rock Pro Series THIS WEEKEND

Post by Roctoy »

Is it too close to be drumming up support for another man made course / rock crawling demo / actual competition at the RNA showgrounds on the 30th March - 1st April weekend yet? :D

There have been whispers but what is the official happenings with this, our hands are well and truly up to be part of another one  (all be it judging or running stands etc) but what's the go?

Yep - definately happening!!

National 4x4 Show - March 30 - April 1 2007

http://www.4x4show.com.au/brisbane/

Will post more details of the concept and pictures soon cause I have to sort out patent details first (WE Rock USA need this).

In a nutshell.....

Initially can only handle a small number of competitors (so sort of invite only - but OZ Rock running a round on the same date as the 4x4 show so we got limited the entries anyway)

Will be a series totally run on man made courses in populated areas.

As we develop the series will be able to handle more competitors.

Series will lead into a World WE Rock Pro event (held in Brisbane or Melbourne) in early February next year when all the US teams etc are out here for the regular WE Rock World final on the 26th Janurary next year.

Competitors that compete any event in this series this year will get automatic entry into future pro events this year and the world final pro event early 2008.

Basically its just a brand new concept that Im wanting to get off the ground. Should be alot of fun and I believe will have a really good future. Basically gets around the difficulties of holding events in the bush.

But more details and pics soon (will have to be soon cause the first event is in less than 3 weeks!!)

Be careful what you wish for Braden, you might just get it...

hint. there are many directions to hit this where you will need MOMENTUM! Crawling isn't an option. :D

Who is actually going to be driving at this?

Adrian - new moon buggy?
Braden- new to driving a moon buggy
Sam - 3rd place World Championships 2006
Damo - new & improved Homeless buggy
Rod Dirt'e - new motor & auto, ready to do it all again.

who else?
