when my injector pump cut off solinoid died i thought id run out of diesel so i rang the missus and asked for her to put the fuel from the mower jerrycan (plain ulp) into her car and go to the servo get some diesel n come save me.

she hopped in her car n figured that it had enough fuel so why was she going to put the fuel in her car when i needed it. brang me the jerry can full of ulp
i think i got about 500mls into my car before i went hrmm this smells like petrol.......... oh and its pink too.

mate, Just fill the tank up to the max and forget it!
there was a thread on this forum about mixing in a % of petrol into diesel's to get a performance improvement! If memory serves, 5% max :?: :?: never tried it myself but some reported noticable gains

I've read the same about putting diesel into petol at around 4%. Not for a performance boost mind you, to prevent vapourisation at very high temps.

I ran worse than 50/50 petrol/diesel in my GQ by accident once.. 3am+
drove from springy road exit of monash to langwarrin at 50k's.. drained it all and filled up with diesel.. never had a problem!
