Post by dybes »

hello all i have pretty much finished putting the 12ht in my 60
but i have a problem with all the vacuum lines...

does any body have a clear photo of a 12ht in a 60 engine bay so i can work out where they all go...

i am mainly concerned with the ones used for turning the engine off....

cheers

i dont have a 12h-t but the 2h auto is similar which is what i have. there is a vacuum pump on the alternator, which supplies the brake booster and a light blue solenoid valve mounted on your intake manifold. there should be 3 connections on this solenoid. the far left comes from a connection on the throttle body (or whatever its called), the middle one connects to the diaphragm that operates the intake shutterand the one on the right connects to the line that comes from the vacuum pump.

You will need the vacuum conrol unit to make this work. Did you get all the vacuum hoses from the other vehicle to do this swap. They have a hell of a lot of hoses as standard.. You may be able to wire in a cable to pull the flap shut.

There will be a hose coming of the ducting between the turbo and inlet manifold that goes to the inj pump. Thats a boost signal.
