NEEDED Good Gearbox/Transfer Mechanic in Sydney

Post by Toyo Truck »

Hey Guys,

I just bought some Dual Transfer cases and fitted them to my hilux.
Only thing is, they are a bit fingered!! They make lotsa bearing noise,
at high speed and a little at low speed. Occaisonally, it makes grinding
noises too.
They need fixing! ASAP.

What I need to know is...
Does anyone know a GOOD PRICED gearbox mechanic
who can rebuild these duals
anywhere in or around Sydney?

I get my license back soon and I wanna go wheeling!
So the sooner I can get this sorted the better.

Give me some names, good ones AND BAD ONES TOO so I know where
NOT to go. Tell me your experiences.
Has anyone had someone rebuild duals before?

Cheers,
Bart

Hey bart
I could HIGHLY reccommend Rob Barnesly at B & B Autoworks, Kirrawee.
He tricked up my turbo 700 auto and pulled my dual transfers (AA Adapter) apart and replaced all the bearings etc with good quality ones. Never had to touch it again.

Cheers Chris
