sd33 wont keep fuel up to the injectors -- help please?

Post by Brendan-s »

hey all,

I have an MQ with an SD33 that as the title says wont keep fuel up to the injectors.

could you please help me with some ways I can diagnose this.

i have replaced the primary screw-on fuel filter, and have cracked an injector pump bleed nut and tried cranking -- no diesel comes out at all, so its not getting anything.

could you please tell me where the fuel filters are that I should check? also can someone please describe what the fuel cut of switch mentioned in the sd33t fuel problems thread looks like.

please help, i need this thing running for TTC :)

cheers Brendan

fuel cut off is on the drivers side of the car about middle of the motor,
It has a little motor on it which seizes up quite often on these motors (pain in the ass) This motor has a rod running off it up to the fuel cut off, disconnect this rod and pushing it forward or backwards will turn the motor on or off. Hope this helps a little
