Trailing arms

Post by disco95 »

Does anyone know, are the trailing arms from the back of a '91 Disco the same as those on a '03 Defender?

I'm pretty sure there all the same length just early rover arms were bigger in diameter than defender arms...

Disco t arms are p weak, and are not as strong as the Defender units, nor as strong as early Rangie arms. We replaced our D1 arms with early Rangie ones which unlike the former have not bent at all!!

Interchangable in an ermergency. Just keep the nut that goes with the arm, some are a fine thread, some are coarse.

Over the years some seem to be solid, others hollow, different diameters. And I bent my 03 Defender ones. Now have kinked & gusseted custom items.

They are both the same and both far too small (diameter).
