Has anyone put a Ford EA onwards 6 cyl. into their Bundy?
I'm looking at various engine conversion options for my 85 RJ70 SWB Bundy but I'm on a small budget so I have to use what I've got.
I have a good 3.9 EFI in my EA (recond. 120K ago, no carby, EFI, very torquey etc.) Was going to sell the EA but not worth a cracker these days so I thought the donk can be put to good use in the Bundy .
Bellhousing/Clutch Adaptor kits are available for the 3.9 to a Hilux g/box too and not exxy either.
I've done some rough measurements only so far, looks like the 3.9 will just fit too but more concerned about diff-sump clearances etc.
Will be fabbing some 80s rear radius arm brackets for better front flex too if 80s arms will fit the axle housing so I dont want to risk the diff hitting the sump.
Might have to do some booty fab on the sump and pick up too for clearance.
Any idea's and advice fella's?
Cheers, sudso
