G'day all had the madest long weekend up at lithgow and when we started to leave some guy asked for help cause a MK was stuck (well thats his first problem) then got stuck myself got out drove up the hill and bang, CV right hand driver side, and a blown left hand driver tyre. all in about 2 minutes of each other.

Anyway drove home to hills area from lithgow about 80Km's

and this is what happened !!!

NOT HAPPY JANE!!!

Get truck back this friday

Have done the same myself, had to drive 700km home before I could fix, by the time I got home I could only turn to the left, made very interesting driving through town :lol:

I had tools i just have never learn how to take a CV joint out before i guest it would be a cheaper alternative next time

Hey thats not to bad a friend smashed a nissan cv that bad it embedded into the inner ball lining & couldn't be steered, night drive in a bog hole yeh good. NOT :cool:

We did, but it had fragmented that much that it still didn't want to turn right... onwell matty... back to the trusty onl MQ for you :D

What you didn't want to come?! ...i thought you wanted to test out your new (at that stage) lightforce products and see if you could do cranstons without any lockers... I must be mistaken :D

Nah Roly wanted to come and see the mq drive cranstons in rear wheel drive that was quite funny.
One of the longest trips ever though taking 14 hours from porters to cranstons there was no airing back up that night
