Id say about 20 vehicals turned up but it wasn't a comp, just a test run.

The main event for T/ville will be in feb 2004.

thanks for the welcome and hospitality while I was there, I hope you all enjoyed the sunday run. It was a lot of fun.

I will be up again for xmas, probably for 2 or 3 weeks to start setting up tracks for the first round. I have set the dates for all the Qld rounds and will post them up later today. but the first round for Townsville will be in march on 20 - 21. I have moved the date after looknig at the long range weather forcast, lookslike major rain for jan to end of feb.

I will be running competition clinics while I am there, I will have the rover up for this, It will go on transport to Kowari Motors a week or 2 before I arrive. A night run or 2 sounds like the go.

The property for the rounds is BLACK RIVER only about 10 - 15 mins out of town.

Arms up to Matt for the amount of work he has put into this, without him the ASCC in the north may not go ahead.

I had a ball and would like to say, thanks to all.

It was a great weekend guys. Thanks to all who came along. Remember that this is a taste of what the ASCC has install. Good feed back also. Let it be known that I am tired of all the different 4WD clubs in the North that seperate from each other and hold their own individual events. There is no reason why we cannot get together and enjoy the sport that we all love. Thanks to the Cairns and other out of town people who joined in on the weekend. I hope you know that the Townsville lads will support your events also.

ARMS UP LADS ARMS UP!!!!!!!!

Go the ASCC in Townsville!!!!

I also welcome the Brisbane lads with open arms that will be competing next year. It will be great to have a proffecionall team up hear and we will support you greatly.
