Safari Tuff clutch part number ???????

Post by guzzla »

80s landcruiser plated 11/11/96 petrol. Trans model as listed on plate is H151F.

Trying to source a safari tuff clutch for it and no one seems to know. it appears exedy dont make one for this model.

Can anyone shed some light and maybe the correct part no and price if it does exist please.

regards,
Nathan

Safari tough clutches are usually 1hz...not to say they dont make one for a 4.5, as the 4.5 is thesame as factory turbo diesel except for the pressure plate.....i have a brand new Toyota 4.5 clutch in wraps if you are interested in a cheap good clutch. Daikan are another good brand to use, RPM are another....

Yep, as said the Daikin Exedy - Safari Tuff is not available for the petrol 80. But the Daikin Exedy - Heavy Duty is available and should be much cheaper than the PBR 4 Terrain (and much better in my opinion).

Any reason you're going for 4Terrain H/D over Exedy H/D? Get a price on the Exedy and compare it to the 4Terrain.
