"From the Competition Managers Desk"

INFO FOR COMPETITORS

* The die is cast, the tracks are set. They might be a long way for some so make sure you have fuel….
* Barber poles are in place. 100 points if the tape is broken, so be ready for them. This is a winch challenge.
* Hobbs pool is back. Dave has done a great job. All cars must return to the pool after each stage and ALL repairs must be done in Hobbs Pool. Meet new friends while you help fix their race truck.
* RFDS is a staple of the QWC. All items great and small make a difference so please donate what you can donate, beg or borrow.
* If you, your sponsor or mates are kind enough to donate raffle items and have promotional material such as banners or posters please bring em along and put em up in the tent or on the track.
* RULE CHANGE: When entering start box, engines must be switched off , if vehicle will not start DNF.
* Friday night is walking distance from THE GUMS where we all camp and Saturday night dinner will be.
* For all competitors and officials Saturday night dinner is included.
* Dinner, general info and Raffle start times are in the QLD OFFROAD 4x4 ACTION newspaper available from selected outlets and on the day.
* Oh one more thing, there will be two cars on most tracks at the same time, see you there….Lance

Hey Everyone....
Only a few days to go before the QWC Series for 2007 kicks off, Don't forget we are still looking for donations for our RFDS Raffle, So dig deep people, It's all for a great cause. And make sure you get your hands on a copy of "Old Offroad 4x4 Action"
For those of you who are new to the QWC, let us introduce you to our Royal Flying Doctors Raffle.. how does it work?? It's all quite easy, We ask for donations of any item small or large to be raffled off on during Saturday night's dinner, Tickets are only $5 and you get the chance to win some of the great prizes up for grabs. What's the best thing about all of this?? The RFDS raffle is continuous.. You can win once, and your ticket goes straight back into the barrel... giving you the chance to win again and again and again.. (and trust me.. sometimes people do win multiple times...
Everyone who donates is given the opportunity to appear on the Qld Winch Challenge website www.qldwinchchallenge.com as a sponsor of the QWC, and is promoted throughout the event as being a sponsor.... So make sure you don't forget to grab your tickets.... But remember, you have to be present and be able to produce your tickets to claim your prize....

hey dave.. i don't think that is enough to grant pensioner discount... fester broke his fingers and still managed to keep going at xi, so i'm sure troy can handle it..hahaha..
maybe he'll just have to drive everything so u don't have to get out of the car...lol then you can lean over and be the steerer...

how the hell did he do it??? was he tryiong to sabotage josh's green machine?????

no sabotage, just about to begin secret mods to the lepar and moving some stuff off the floor of the shed it slipped and jammed his hand. He did say it just needs a band aid but further inspection found it to be worse than originally thought. kaylene took him up for repairs while I done all the work Bludger!!

All good to go now though.

I would much rather have done all the work than visit the bloody quack!
And besides that i am gonna be in a whole world of pain after this weekend cause i can't hold onto the steering wheel with my right hand without tearing at the stitches so i am definately looking forward to that feeling!!!!(not)
I do however have good drug's and i reckon coupled with a fair few beer's i'll survive!
