1kz-te exhaust size question ?

i've got a hilux with a 1kz-te motor . interested in putting a larger exhaust and dump pipe. just wondering what to go for and where in the sydney area . How much would this cost and what sorta difference would it make ?

i have the same car and i put a 2.5 inch from the flex back with a strait through mufler and i did nt even notice any power gain or anythin but it sounds cool you hear the turbo spool heaps.

i spoke to the guy about a dump pipe and he suggested unless you are doin heaps to the car as in intercooler ,fuel increase, bigger turbo then dont woory about a dumpipe but its up to you ... it cost me $170 in brissy but it might be different in sydney hope it all helps

Got the same Lux also. 2.75 inch mandel bent all the way through. With a lukey
straight through muffler and a new 3.5 inch dump pipe.
Made a huge differance. prob around 15% more power. Cost 700. But
worth every cent.

This is what makes the biggest gain.
The factory cast dump pipe will not even fit a matchbox through it!
