come clean cheezy thats not what you told me:
you were more interested in the shower shenanigans than the event itself, and the activites behind the shower blocks made up for the 40 hour drive ;)

As promised

This is the tube bender needs to be mounted in a sturdy vice. it works by pulling the tube around the die and leaves minimal kinking

I bought this one for $245.00 from Maroubra Powertools in Sydney with 1 1/4" die the 2" die was an additional $55 dollars

Please do not tell NAM as he did not repond to my private message.

cool, so how long did it take you to bend the bug up from that little unit?

also

i will keep it a "SECRET" from NAM, in fact i can erase this before anyone else sees it, if you feel that would help to maintain the integrity of the bender

we dont want to breach protocol or anything :!:

Interesting bender. Is it all manual or hyro assist?

Yeah and I didn't reply to you PM because I never got it! :?: Serious dude... resend unless you've already posted what you were going to say.

its manual no hydro assists, If attaced to a secure bench then it works well as it has a very long lever. I would not want to be building full pipecars in a day with it but for "home" use or in you case front gutter use NAM it will be fine.

Don't bag my ghetto workshop! :x

I'll look at getting one because the results look excellent and it is quite affordable. I'll just have to book into a gym to get some Arnie arms to use it.

NAM,

I have been using this bender to make these playstation and Xbox Racing simulators. Small tube not much strength needed to bend the stuff but my arms are really getting toned up........ Now I have to exercise so the rest of me keeps up with my arms. Bending the tube is like being on riods........whats Bj on Roids excuse :?:

The pic you posted is a little hard to see but could you convert these benders to Hydro with a ram and pump easy? What is it made from alloy or steel? Are the dies sold seperatly and how much are they,Or do they only bend the one size tube?

I'll take another pic of my one in action on the weekend.

Cant really see how to convert it. Brute strenght is all that is required once you have bent a bit you will get used to the amount of spring in the steel. The dies are sold seperately. Its really only designed to be a step up from the dreaded red hydro pipe benders. If you are looking at doing alot of shit with it then your better off spliting the cost of a $700 bender with a couple of mates.

Cool thanks for the info and those pics would be great. Just seams like a cheap bender that would be handy to have.

Haha. I shouldn't laugh.

Anyway, my parents are possibly going to Sydney this week so I might pick one of these benders up. No one wants to go halves with a bender yet they ALL wanna use it.
