RUFF wrote:So what make/Model is going to Dominate the Top 10 this year?

There are-
8 X Cruisers,
6 X Hilux,
6 X Rovers,
5 X Zooks,
3 X Jeeps,
8 X Nissans,
1 Daihatsu,
1 Mitsubishi,

My Bet is the Cruisers Dominate with at least 5 places in the Top 10.
just looking back at results...

2 cruisers
3 Rovers
2 Nissans
3 Zuks

pretty evenly spread.

Yea Yea.

Personally I think you did very well. Good work

We were glad that our efforts in the mud run weren't shown  Poor Glenn was very happy.

We were suprised to see that we got 5th overall in Heart Break Ridge, but far our we're stoked. 4th in the Show and shine.

Pretty good a Newby....

Look Out Next Year

Read 4WD Monthy today and looked over the TT Section, I thought there would have been more in there on TT. But hey they have lots that they have to put ey???

some very good drives.

the DVD highlighted how tuff this year was!!!

I felt disapointed with the lack of driving and the amount of hangups but it seams that everyone or nearly everyone got stuck on the same places.

The amount of carnage this year was just stupid a very costly run for competitors in total!!!! tyres links panels rock rash diffs axels trays   it had it all. but I guess its for tuff trucks and all that damage doesn't matter.

look forward to next year

Yeah since not alot of competitors get to really see everyone else attempt the same section .....it was a eye opener to who was having issues where we did also and just how far some got on course's (way further than US ) but in the process accumulated a heap more penalties and ened up with less points than our team ....... .....

Certainly a good DVD

Carnage only cost me bout $30 for the Heim I broke .....which I have bought another but still havent changed the temp link I put in to get back to camp @ TT ;) ...and its been wheeled a bit since then lol ....

Would like to go back next year ...will see if I hold onto the VIT

In making the TT07 DVD we had to take so may things into account...we had responsibilities to the event organisers, competitors, spectators and general public...all of which have hugely different needs in seeing a DVD.

So we have tried to make a DVD that explains to the average guy what TT is all about, exposes the vent for the massive effort and weekend it is but also shows plenty of action with every truck getting equal billing.

We also need to look to the future...branding the event as well as naming teams and drivers gives a far more personal slant to the sport...the viewers become attracted to personalities, kids look up to competitors...the events grow and the sport flourishes.

Between what you guys do on the tracks and we do for publicity we want to create heroes that people can aspire to...more viewers, more participants, more competitors...more 4wdriving and a strong and positive future for our sport.

The DVD took it out of all of us...but we are pleased with the result.

Cheers,
Simon.
