Unfortunatley after working my @#$ off to get my buggy going again after last round,I have to call it quits.
I was carrying out some minor mods to the engine to give me some more power and torque, when things went wrong.....

Lets just say boost = :x :x :bad-words: :bad-words:

Anyway goodluck to all those are going, have a great weekend.

We will be back better then ever for the next round......

again good luck to all competitors and give them all hell cheezy......

Congrats to Shane for coming first and Moon Man Moonie for 2nd. Moonie said he rolled it twice (in our buggy) and stuffed a rim and still came a place, but he said Shane blitz it!!!

Moonie said the course we f*&^en hard and tight, Cal busted 6 axles and Petes buggy ripped a portal off, OUCH!

Third place I think was Mock, not bad for a transaxle ;)

Awesome weekend, great courses, and A1 atmosphere all round.

We got a bit of a jump early on with tough tight courses and a few roll overs from other competitors. Managed to complete every course - only team to manage that this weekend.

Only carnage (I think - haven't gone over her properly yet) was a holed sticky 40" Maxxis (side wall), and a bent coolant outlet on the motor (which we took a 10 point fluid loss penalty for after dropping some water on the course).

I think the scores were something like:

FireBug 21
M&M 166
Rodent 199ish??

Can't remember the others. Dave (The Tree Hugger) took out 1st in Pro Mod, and was just outside a top 3 over-all I think.

Thanks to Taz (/Pete) for letting us borrow your spare, and big thanks to all our sponsors and people who helped us along the way. Thanks Ben and Mooney for the fuel in the commodore to get us out and home!!

Bring on Round 3.

Fantastic weekend as usual. It's hard to believe that the atmosphere is still so relaxed amongst the competitors. Not to mention the comradory with parts lending/swapping almost all weekend.

The disconnect works well, just a pity the rear brakes don't.

Well done Shane and Zack.

....and does anyone have a bearing cup that looks like this one???..

A big thanks to Corawa Bearings for opening up at 9PM Saturday night for just one bearing and Webbie for chasing it down.

Yeah big thanks to Cheezy and crew for running the event, we had a blast.

The tracks were well set out and the running of the event was very professional. I liked the idea of letting the drivers set the last course on Sunday!

I have plenty of pics from a number of cameras and some video. It will slowly be going up over the next few days and I'll post links here as it does.
