Interesting - looks like all discontinued engines - wonder if they bought the manufacturing plants or just made copies...

If the chinese are making whole engines, where can we buy their individual parts?

Interesting, shame theres not too many car engines, most seem to be truck diesels. Is the pricing reasonable, I realsise they-re 'new', but whats comparo like to a import halfcut etc.

Would you really want to put knock off parts in a genuine Cummins 6BTA?

I would like to know how Cummins, as an example, view a site advertising new, replacement Cummins engines!

I bet this site doesn't stay up long! - They don't even say "compatible with" or "replacement for!"

why, whos gunna force them to get rid of it? they are in china, prolly hosting out of china, dont think you would have any luck suing for false advertising or misrepresentation or otherwise, and if they have bought rights to manafacture then I dont realy thing isuzu etc would GAF
If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!

Probably just bought the tooling and rights.
Maintaining parts inventories and design info for older engines probably cost the OEM's a lot of money - why not sell it off. Esp since its mainly the "poorer" countries that keep the old stuff running so much longer than the "developed" countries.

If the parts are made properly, then what's the problem? I've bought genuine isuzu parts (from an Isuzu dealer) with "made in China" on the box.

The parts I'm looking for are external anyway (exhaust manifold).
