I m having problems balancing my Simex ET II ( 36"x12.5"-15 )......i have balanced so many times with lead....issues got worth with the new beadlock wheels i got from allied.....Tyres were even balanced while installed on axles as the machine wasn't giving a good result.....
Has anyone tried the equals or any other possible solution ?

Have the same tyres and have not tried anything yet - not even got around to balancing them cause the car ain't finished. So will be interesting to see the responses, and the solutions. Have seen mixed reports on self-balancing substances....though...

yeah i have a set 36x12.5x16 and have internal beadlocks and havent balanced them at all. At 100-120kl/hr they are perfect no problems what so ever so i wont bother balancing them maybe just the luck of the draw? the only problem i have with these tyres is that if I leave the car for a week then hop in and drive it around it seem's to develop a flat spot but once the tyres warm up no problems at all. my driving envolves mud, rock, sand and highway(too lazy to put my road tyres on)so they are not on there for show I'm constantly letting pressure down as low as 6psi maybe try that stuff walker just bought ?

Hally - the "D" shape comes from the tires being Bias...so with time (even overnight in hot countries), they get to that shape...couple of clicks and they're round again...
Jay - I have some equal in Lebanon...don't advise it for anything above a mild 33-35...its a waste of time, money and deflating time becomes a couple of days' worth...

Balancing Simex? Who does that! No, seriously, I haven't balanced my 34s, and none of the guys I know have balanced theirs, for the basic reason that it seems fairly pointless when you look at the amount of rubber you are trying to balance with a bunch of tiny weights. And since we all have road tyres as well, its not really much of an issue, but they tend to drive pretty good anway.
I notice the balance on my 34s will be different morning to night if I've been out on a trip, and depending on which wheels I bolt them to. Sometimes they'll be quite nicely balanced, others nightmarishly bad. First thing in the morning they are pretty rumbly, but once they warm up a little they are a lot better.
If its unbearably bad, try swapping tyres front to back, or even popping the beads and spinning the tyre around a bit. You're likely to have more joy that way than by trying to correct 30kilos of rubber imbalance with a handful of little lumps of lead.

I have just taken my 33" jungle trekka 2's off my rover rims (need new rims as im putting nissan diffs under it) and you should see the pile of lead that came off all the rims!!!!!! it was so rediclous there was like 3 of the biggest weights you could get on each rim + a couple of little ones! when i get my new rims i dont know if i will bother
