Stainless Snork ??

Post by Lux_89 »

Hey guys..
Just in the process of snorkel ideas.. i saw this one on a pootrol for sale in here, its got a three inch stainless pipe being used for the snorkel with a 90* rubber bend outa the side of the motor, goes to the pipe, a 45* rubber bend when it gets to the pillar and another 45* at the roof outa rubber again. It has no head on it as such. I wos just thinking of doin that to my lux, but what goes on with water.. when it rains where does the water go, cuz the safari that i had had those drains at the top.. How to you go about stopping the water..? :? Cheers guys.. ps any pics of these fitted to any car would help too if possible..
with thanks Chris.

Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set

The heads have water seperators built into them. The water is meant to channel to the little slot in the front and back of the snorkel head.

If any gets past this, it doesn't make it even to the filter... and if it did make it to there, that's where it would stay.
It usually just stays on the insides of the pipe or in the bends I think.
