5 link rear in 80 mods - getting rid of rear steer

ok so i would like to flatten the trailing arms out in the rear of my 80 a bit so i lose some of that lovely rear steer and i had a bit of a thought..

could i lift the diff ends of all the rear arms 2" or so to flatten them out??

any comments are appreciated

nah jsut tying to make it a bit nicer on rd and it wil also make it better in the bush all goin well :)


so any ideas anyone.. is there any harm movin them up??

have you read the link i posted? because i think that if you go to trouble of using the calculator you will get the answer that you are after.

Why is it rear steering? Is it the angle of the arm shortening bringing the wheel closer in?

yer mate rear arms are too steep, i could put longer arms in it but if i do the bottom i should do the top and thats a bit more involved than i wanna go at the mo..

its from the lower arms being parralell to the chassi
they need to tapper in from the diff to the chassi to stop it

her is a good right up on 4 links but its the same principle on a 4 or 5 link you need to tapper the lower links
