I am sure that lifts from the airport can be sorted for anyone wanting to fly into avalon as well.
It is literally on the way to the event.

Just checked the Jetstar website...

$163 return from Sydney
$198 from Brisbane

Come on down and enjoy the sound of some buggies crunching rocks close to Melbourne :D

Lara is 1/2 way between the city centre and Geelong.
Also we will hire a mini bus to transport people to and from Avalon airport to the event site,'' ONLY '' if there is enough interest from the interstaters.
There is camping, food and drinks on site so there is no need to bring along too much. :D
This one is going too be a major event as we are running adds in everything from the city and outer up too Geelong. Being so close to the city expect crowds, so get there early.
NOW ABLE TOO SAY WHAT I WANT WITHOUT FEAR OF LOOSING SALES.

this will be so cool, close to the city. Well done guys getting a property this close and hopefully should make it easy for mainstream media to get on board. can't wait to go

All on the same property. You can drive the 250m from the camping area too the parking area. From there its only 50m too the comp area. All 8 tracks that have been set are in the one area of 100mx50m.
NOTE: Dont try to sneek past the 2 boundry buntings and security areas as past that you will be shot at. (you will be on a shooting range) past that. ;)

I live 5 mins from where this is being held and i'm 45 mins from the CBD and 45 mins from the airport. It's that close to melb that they're almost tripping over it. I think we should be able to muster a fair whack of supporters..

Yes - driver and spotter need CCDA... they can usually join you up on the spot at the event if you are not a member.

O.K on this subject of help ,would anyone /everyone be interested if l can secure a workshop to use over the weekend in case of major breakages?
the only thing will be a small fee (per team that uses these facility's)to cover the owners lighting and some equipment please let me know as l'm gunna get a workshop for yas if needed, but l cant organize this sort of setup at the last minute.CHEERS
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.
