hj75 fly wheel + v8

Post by known 2 »

hey, i'm wondering is it the standard 75 series flywheel they use when a v8 conversion is done using marks adapters, from a 2h to a 308.
as i'm looking for something lighter. sooooooooo heavy.

why lighten a factory flywheel on a 4by?

it will decrease your crawling ability. lightening flywheels only makes engines rev quicker. wont make it hold torque etc

i've heard that a few times now, but it makes it harder to launch especialy up hill.

I agree don't go a lightened flywheel or you will lose torque when you need it most. Surely the V8 will give an adequate power increase for launching?

Cheers
