I have a small 2HP Air compressor which has shiat itself.
I am going to take the motor off & use the tank, etc. for an air locker & tyres.
CAN I run the pressure switch that was on this tank ( Think someone said they may work with 12 volt ) or just run the ARB?
Need to know as i have to get this setup working before the next logan night run.

these switchs (hobbs type) will generally handle up to 250v. 2A
they are either single or dual contact n/o or n/c or both as per hobbs adjustable or some smc switchs.
ARB switch list price is $37- bought one last week for $35 cash. I measured it with an accurate gauge and it switches off at 91PSI and back on at 68PSI.
The pressure switches work fine, have used them on my vehicles before.
I'm curently fitting one to my 88 swb mav to control the 508 sandon pump.
Hope this info is of some help.
Yeah thanks guys,
sounds like i can run either, will try the condor one that came on the compressor first.
Any ideas as to wiring this up?
The condor type has 2 leads coming out of the box.
A power lead, which you would replace with power from a relay?
The other goes to the motor, which you would wire to the clutch on the york compressor ?
Is that right?
Once again thanks for the help
