I have a dvd player and monitor in my vitara just wondering if u can buy a gps system to hook up to my exsisting monitor as i dont want other screen in my car.

Dont know if anything like this is avaliable.

If you install a carputer that runs an os that allows you to use Ozi Explorer or similar you will be able to hook it up to your monitor if it has av input.
none of the standalone gps's have a vga or video output function.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

couldn't you hook it up to a safely stored away laptop, with oziexplorer and maps installed, and use it as a moving map that way? Just wouldn't be able to interact with it without accessing laptop.
