Waeco Cooling Fan

Post by HotFourOk »

Gday everyone,

I just bought a Waeco CF-35AC and have a quick question for any other owners out in the realms of OL.

When I plug the unit into power (240 or 12v) the cooling fan turns on, even when the unit is not turned 'on' at the control panel.
The fan stays on at the same speed no matter if the compressor is running or when its at the desired temp.

Should it do this? It just makes it a bit noisy. I thought when up to temp the fan would cut out, and when its not turned on, I thought the fan would be off completely. :?
Otherwise, the unit works extremely well and am happy with its performance.

Thanks in advance, Nick.

Yeah, I'm going to do that first thing Monday, thought I'd ask on here but it seems no-one owns a Waeco.
