GQ auto hub problems

Post by KIWI »

Ever since the mechanic did my wheel bearings last week, my hubs click when in 4wd unless I lock them.
Also, when I take it out of 4wd, I now have to reverse 2-3m otherwise the hubs try to engage again, which doesn't sound or feel too good.

Does anyone have an exploded pic of exactly how these go together, so I can put them back on correctly?

Cheers,
Dave

Are you sure he didn't just put to much grease in them. This can cause all sorts of problems.

mine did that and they were rooted, pulled em off and bits fell out everywhere but this was because they had a fight with the locker and the locker won, basically had to take the cap screws out and remove the drive gear to get home because even in lock it was clicking and in 2wd
