I am particularly interested in your thoughts on the 3 classes and rule configurations. Please note: The vehicle config rules were drafted to intentionally open up the code to as many teams as possible, not just those with big budgets. Your feedback will be listened to, considered and incorporated wherever possible in the interests of promoting the sport.
There is a fair amount of detail, but I believe it is clear and concise and the level of detail is necessary to engender clear understanding of what is and is not acceptable. If you don't like something, tell me, don't be a winger; there are too few of us pebblers at the moment and we can't afford to get this wrong.
Remember, the objective is to promote the sport and make it available to as many teams as possible, not just those with big budgets.

i only read the open class as that is all i am really interested in.
a few questions,
*all non oem lines must be steel braided.
Do you mean that flashy steel braided hose, or is hydraulic hose that is steel braided but rubber coated ok? Does that make sense?
*any steel or aluminium wheels that are manufactured for re-sale in australia
so you cant get a standard wheel, cut out the centre and and re-make your own centre?

Any rounds going to be had in NSW?

Tony Dodds came around to my shed today to enter the round; he and Norm Walters will be competing. He read the rules and said, we are in but I bet some blokes will miss the point. Perhaps I have erred, & missed the pont also. And I accept complete responsibility for that. We don't say an engineer's certificate is required, and it is not. (JUST LIKE THIS PETE )
Duty of care, competitor indemnity, and public liability are required and these are facts of life. The responsibilities of event directors and competitors alike are deadly serious. Our solicitor has made me painfully aware of this, so I will, make you gently aware of this:
* Registration is a requirement for this round;
to ensure 3rd Party extensions are legally
and honestly obtained by competitors.
* I look forward to seeing you on the rocks
in the innaugural XRCC round.

I run military specification, aircraft hose for the delivery and return of hydraulic fluids for my ram steering. The hose has five layers, comprising steel and synthetics. The outermost layer is black synthetic which masks the steel cores. On the outermost layer, the mil-spec, aircraft standard labelling denotes the inner steel cores, and therefore, such hose is XRCC approved. XRCC Scrutineers are aware of this.
