nikki two barrel carby - what car?

Post by dank »

I've got a nikki two barrel carby sitting at home and need to find out what car it came off. People have said mazda 626 or 929 rear wheel drives but checked them out and the intake diameter is only 70mm whereas the one i have is 80mm.

It has a power choke, adjustable just about everything, primary and secondary cylinder. (side note, does secondary open up on full throttle or does it need vacuum as well to open? i've opened the throttle up a few times but the secondary doesn't open up just using the accelerator cable...)

Some people also rumour that its off a hyundai as well....can anyone help?

thanks for info...

gonna give it a try on the G13a to see how it goes with a crow cam as well... thats if i can find a suitable intake for it without having to mod the bonnet. i probably should just get a G16 AND STOP screwing around with the G13.

When my suzuki carby played up, I got a carby off a vitara. more fuel, more response etc. And it all bolts on without any problems. Had to get it reco-ed as the choke was playing up, after that it was very good.

This is on the G13 by the way!
