GQ Space

Post by Lawrence »

Read some reviews on the gq on this site http://www.redbook.goauto.com.au/mellor ... enDocument
It said that the gq has more space than the previous model. Where is the extra space? Is it in the roof? Specs for the mk show more height than the gq (swb, lwb and pickup). Could it be in a lower seat in the gq? I know that they share a lot of the same body parts.
89 gq dx. bone stock --- for now.

there is no more space realy.
i beleive to roof on the gq is very slightlyt wider. only other size differences are the floor hump, rear doors and flared gaurds.

id bet the made a boo boo as i have a 85 mk n a 88 gq in my driveway n i cant see the space difference

tunnel shape, rear seat hump, foot well for dickie seat, smaller rear inner gaurds is all I can think off. Not really much more user space but its there
