Would two smaller top quality oil coolers with a fan each be as efficient (or better or worse) than one large top quality oil coller with a large fan ??
This being with the total cooler surface area being roughly the same in each case.

Oil cooler efficiency
Try to keep at least one wheel on the ground at all times !!!!!! (unless you want to do a jump....... thats different)
Yeah, a single fan will pull more air through, and the less joins the better if you're far from nowhere.
Is the application dependant on space?
Having to enter 2 coolers it may cause more of a restriction in the oil flow.
Due to heat flow being dependant on the temperature gradient, the one cooler may be more efficient in dissipating heat to the atmosphere.
In a 2 cooler setup, the first cooler will remove x amount of heat, and the second cooler will recieve oil of a lower temperature. This may cause less heat to be dissipated.
I think one larger would be cheaper also.
