it is a td42 with after market turbo set-up, car appears to breakdown and splutter after two and a half/three thousand revs.
only recently started doing this and was fine before hand.
i am not to sure where to start but to me it seems like all it can be is lack of fuel. any advice welcome thanks scottie.

mine does not have the guaze strainer, replaced small filter on fuel sender and didnt do anything, and fuel filter changes havnt helped,
im hoping its not the pump, is there any way to test it, as mine was rebuilt about 60,000ks ago,
Mc gill, plumb up another fuel source in a 4l container, put the return hose in it as well and go for a drive, this will tell you if its the pump or the fuel supply system.
