wouldnt bother, if u want more power then increase the boost.
BUT i tried it on mine from 10psi to 18psi or so and there was minimal improvement.
at the end of the day its still a diesel not a race car.

mate thejabber isnt on the road anymore.
when i was driving it regularly i used to fill up every 500ks and it was around the 50lt mark on average.
i got anywhere between 8.5 per hundred to 14 per hundred depending on how i drove it

I have the same engine as you but in a gen1
I also have 33" tyres.

I think this combination is just slow.....
accept it, winding up the fuel or overboosting is asking for trouble.

J-top Paj- no longer has his on the road, I think he was maybe looking to part out? his has 5.29 ratio diffs (I think) so this would be a better option to compensate for low power larger tyres.

Did the straight through exaust help the power economy?

I have heard about the turbos needing replacement (hearsay) but don't know of anyone who has owned one actually have to replace a turbo.

not sure about parting it out yet... and if i do someone else has already got the diffs,
i heard about the 100k turbo thing too but im not convinced.

the zorst did help a little but its still a little diesel pushing 2t worth of truck so dont expect much.
the 5.29s do help a lot tho. when my mate had his 2.4l surf we used to have a bit of fun at the lights now and then and i was in 3rd before he got to change from first to second  and i was in front all of the time too :D

How do you wind up the fuel & what is a good indicator of how much or how little fuel is being used.

im not 100% sure myself but i have been talking to my mates neighbour who used to build up pajeros and he sez u need a boost gauge and boost controller and a pyro gauge and u tune it off the temperature of the exhaust apparently
