good luck. these are very hard to find so dont be fussy with color. some wreckers want $300+ for a rust free one.

oh and any soft top one will fit afaik

Just a tip here, Vicelore, as I put a replacement windscreen frame on my '85 LWB about three weeks ago.

As B4T says, the frame from a NT Sierra will fit with no problems, I put a WT frame on my obviously NT body. However, the wiper assemblies are significantly different. Get the wrong one and you will have big-time headaches trying to make it all work.

Whichever one you manage to find (and yes, don't be too fussy about colour), try to get it with the wiper motor and mechanism intact. Mind you, the wiring seems to be a little different as I now have only two wiper speeds - intermittent and slow!

Cheers - Longbaser.

oh didnt even think about the wipers, coudnt i just keep the motor/blades ect off my old one or do they not fit in the NT frame ? ( i take it they would just screw straight into the WT frame)

Cheers

Are they available from from Suzuki ?
I have a contact at Maruti in India I can order parts through if Suzuki don't want to help.

Do you mean the panels or a car? A whole car is possible but would be VERY expensive and not registerable in Aust. Panels are easy enough but you will have to weld them all together. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Spot-Welder_W0QQ ... dZViewItem

G'day Vicelore.

You're correct about your existing wipers and motor transferring to a windscreen frame off another WT, it should be no problem. (Though it may vary slightly between the early WTs and later WTS, I'm not really sure about that one!) :?

It's bound to be a hassle if you score a good frame off a NT model, as the wiper mechanisms are different, so as I said earlier, if you score a good one off a NT (they probably still exist!) try to get it with wiper
motor and mechanism intact.

By the way, what want33s said about Maruti parts is correct. I got the extended rear bumper finishers for my LWB Sierra from there, but they took over six weeks to get here!

Cheers - Longbaser.

Nature of the beast, the older they get the fewer good parts available the price grows

Lets see
Replacement Windscreen..$100
Replacement Rubber .......$ 80 (?=guestimate)
Wiper Assembly...............$100 (?)
Visors.............................$ 20 (?)
Mirror.............................$ 20 (?)
Bolts and Brackets...........$ 30 (?)
TOTAL.............................$350
And I have not included the frame yet
$212.50 is not bad when you add all the bits up
My max bid was $214....lucky
;)
