This is straight from the book

Normal/typical use Shell Diff oil (Sae 90) or Mobil Mobilube (Gx 90)

Heavy off road use Shell Spirax HD (85w-140) or Mibil mobilube (Gx 140)

If you need the high temp desert or winter use give us a yell just cant be botherd typing it ;)

I use 85-140 stuff. Thick as, but does the trick. Have fun trying to get the stuff into the diff!

My fitter recomended Penrite Limslip oil, but any good quality LSD oil would suffice.

The guys who built my diffs and installed the lockers said not to use LSD oil and to use the 85-140 stuff.

I dunno eitherway.

if you use Shell LSD it is compatable for standard diffs, as well as LSD's

Therefore ya get the best of both worlds...

i think the label is written

"For all heavy duty diffs, with or without LSD"

sounds good enough for me!

the first air lockers I bought, the book said to use LSD oil because it had preservatives in it that would help with the life of the seals & O-rings etc.. The last pair of air lockers I bought had that sentance omitted??
