GME UHF mike extension

Post by nicbeer »

Hey,

mate used to have it in his rig.

I have a gme 4200 and uses a RJ12 plug. radio is mounted in between seats and want mike on dash.

Is it a std phone line connection or is it wired differently, crossover or ?

Nic

yep phone cable is what u need and its a straight through kinda thing,
just have to put the 2 connectors so the clip tab is opposite when laid flat, sounds confusing but just think about it and you'll get it.
then just a standard joiner and your away

GME also sells an extension for them, it is a panel mount at the mic end so it look "pretty" but they are about $40
