dynamat is a bit exxy for general soundproofing. it is really good and is used by car audio enthusiasts all over the world. i would use it on door panels and so on but for the floor i would look at that bitumen style sound deadener.. easier to cut and isnt as messy oh and cheaper for large areas.
I got one of the large packs of dynamat extreme, sound deadened both front door (outside and inside skin) and should have enough left over to do the footwells in my GQ, it isn't messy to use, just cut it,heat it up a bit with a heat gun and stick it on. I used it more for sealing up the doors for better stereo sound, but it did cut the road noise down a fair bit aswell.
I have used 2 boxes to do my 75 series. Expensive but well worth it.
75 series ute. 8 inch lift, Drop shackles, Shock hoops, ladder bar, Ubolt flip, 3 inch wheel spacers, intercooled turbo, winch, twin detroits, 35" Mtr's, etc, etc.
sooty i got some stuff called fatmat off a bloke in oz on ebay, alot cheaper then dynamat, its bitumen based, foil back sticks on,i havent finished yet but it made alot of diff in my 60 series,i'll be buying another roll of this stuff, dynacrap was too dear for me.
