Just wondreing if anyone can shed some light on why my tyre rear driverside after doing a heap of soft sand driving started to make a noise to me it sounded like sand grinding between the pad and the disk is this a normal thing or not. Now Im home the noise has gone so im stuffed as to what it was. Its not there now ?????????????????????????????????????????

I wouldn't worry to much just get in there and make sure nothing isn't stuck in there and when u clean the car with the prssure cleaner if ya got one blast the hell out of ya disk and all ya pads and stuff and blow out any crap in there ...
Thanks for that guys I was in the middle of nowhere and was worried that I may have done some real damage to the wheel . I thought it might of been a bearing but it drives fine now. I will have to get my hands dirty this weekend I guess.
