which tyres ?

Im planning to do a run from Melb - Erldunda - Canning stock route then on to Broome, and down the west coast then home along the great australian nibble...

what tyres would you suggest for this ?

dick cepek fc2 would be a good start, dudes who travel in breadboxs in our club swear by em. AJ does too on here.



but on what car? how much shit? Towing? what time of yr you planning? etc.

B) The same size as the other cars in the group you are travelling with. Yuo don't want to be the only guy with a 345/62/r19 when you have just had your 5th puncture.
C) Square shouldered, tall, narrow radials. Tall narrow tyres take far less HP to push in sand (and on the road) and are less vulneable to damage.

Personally, I would run 9.00X16's If i was building a car just for this type of work.

hilux, fairly well loaded, not towing, around august.

after reading up on these fc2 tyres, they seem like a fine choice.
