SUNK MY ROCKY NOW WONT START

Post by mrRocky »

Testing out my new tyres in the mud yesterday, got a little eagre and found myself climbing out the sunroof as water was up to the bottom of the window.
ive done this twice before and required a new solenoid in the starter motor each time, suprise make that three after monday
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar prob with water affecting theres or do i need to silicone it up watertight, wrap a plastic bag around it, ect...

Are they expensive? Sounds like you might need to pack a couple of spares :)

I've had water in the cab, maybe not quite THAT high  but didn't do anything to the starter.
