night nav rocksberg 19 may

Post by butler built racing »

hi everyone, John from Butler Built Racing, putting on a night nav for the Qld 4x4 Club to raise money to go to the Rainforest Challenge.
Our night nav clashes with two camping trips organised for the club. Concerned that numbers will be down I am inviting 20 visitors to participate. You will need to contact me pre nominate and pay before the event. This is a family afternoon/evening, registration from 2.15pm, briefing 2.45pm and departure 3.00pm. The first half you can use a stick map or a GPS to return back to the start where food and drink will be for sale around dinner time. Then you will receive a second stick map to negotiate returning around 6-6.30pm for presentation. This is a raffle run whereby you will receive a raffle ticket to start finding clues along the way earning more raffle tickets. At the end whoever has the most raffle tickets wins first choice of all the prizes. You will have the opportunity to buy more raffle tickets outbidding so you can have first choice. We will be running a second set of tickets for the children to win their own raffle. We should be completed by 7-7.30pm. Tracks include two new gazetted roads never been used before and an old forestry - permits not required, that hasn't been used for a long time. For more info pm me.

John, the club has a meeting on Tuesday nite. I'll mention it and see if we can get some peeps up there. You have supported us in the GC2000 in the past so I'll see if I can get there.
