I only just get 20l/100km if I take it easy around town, and thats with 35's and 4.8's centres. When I first did the converion it was more like 16l/100km. (33's, 4.3s)

Best ever was the trip to Tuff Truck a couple years ago, got 13l/100km with 33's and stock 4.3 ratios.
I don't know why yours is so bad on fuel mine ran 16l/100km with 700(ish)kg of (empty)car float behind it (23l/100km with an MU and 4 38's on the trailer not very good eh) on the weekend (newy to Brisvegas) and normally runs 14 around town and 11-12 on the highway, I've got 255/85R16 (34's) and 4.3 centres
I get the same figures as mico with 315/75/17 with the same tyres as Twisty and 4.8 centres. Maybe you should throw it back on the Dyno and get it checked, you havent had it done since you changed motors over have you??

have you done a diagnostics/faults check yet? that should tell if anything is wrong.
Nah, the loom I bought off Scott from Venom was out of one his race cars. It uses the absolute bair minimum of wires needed for the engine to still run properly without going into limp mode.

I now wish I spent the extra $$ at the time to get one of his usual looms with retains th diagnostics plug, but was stapped for cash at the time.

On one postive note, I recently finally wired up a thermo switch for the 16" ICE thermo fan which has improved fuel consumption. For the previous two years it has just run constantly. But now with it only switching on when needed (on at 95 degrees, off at 85) the engine seems to run and idle smoother....and is returning about 17l/100km on the last two tanks.

The first time I had it on the dyno they said it was running richer then it was, which is supposley the factory setting, but yeah, am keen to get it on there again sometime and see how its all going. It'll be going on the dyno at LCMP this weekend to see how its power output compares to two years ago. (Only mod since then is the new motor and a K&N Air Filter) But they dont put a oxygen sensor in the exhuast pipe, so can only tell you the power/torque outputs.
