any one know if coily and leaf tailgates are the same size. i dont live near any wreckers so cant measure for myself.
mine is an 85 and im chasing a soft-top tailgate.
can anyone help me out?

im 95 percent certain they are interchangiable

although i have never interchanged one.
TOYZUKI 96 coily zook,lux diffs, 3 inch suspension lift,3 inch body lift, 33'sMTRS,series 4 hopper,power steer,twin air lockers,4 LINK front and rear,2 inch spacers(GOT WIDTH)

I have seen them listed on Ebay every now and then. I think theres one on now.
If I had to replace mine I'd go to a sheetmetal works(someone who makes pisstroughs) and get one bent up.
Stainless would last forever but be heavy.
Mild steel is cheap.
Aluminium would be the best option if you have a seperate spare wheel carrier.

custom is an option but just want to see if all sierra's tailgates are interchangable.
