I was having a chat about this the other night. I am probably in effect re setting my gen3 ecu every drive. I have a total isolator switch and shut if off always as it shuts off my front winch on switch (non momentary).

wish I had remembered to ask mark at power torque about this

cheers bru

Hey Bru, it wont hurt it at all, if you have had the baseline re-programmed by use of the LS1 edit then it will still hold and revert to the baseline every time, otherwise its just going back to the stock as a rock settings. All it means is that every drive it is looking to learn any new settings for knock avoidance, a/f ratio finetuning etc. (they run rich as a pig stock and typically pick up 30 kw just from a proper tune) And if you are running the matching auto it will be learning your preferred load settings and shift points. But it wont hurt it at all.

cheers Brad.
