My brakes don't seem to be working very well, pads are really expensive, I was wondering if I should just clamp the hoses off and stop it in gear with the key....
Dude, the fuel cut solenoid is there (amonsgeth other thigs, I am sure) to help prevent engine fires by shutting off any potential fuel flow into the carby when the ignition is off. It is a safety feature- It might be worth coughing the $$$ and replacing.
