hey guys im currently strippin my rangire for rebuild just wondering on the 2 door models how do u remove the rear side windows, i have the roof n all the outer guard n panels off but cant figure out the windows, all the bottem bolts are out n the pop rivits are out up the top but it wont come out ??? :cry:

There is a Clip on the bottom rail (bottom of the sliding window itself) pull the clip out with pliars and the window will come out with some jiggaling...

The rear most glass and the full rubber seal is held in by small nuts that are accessed from the channel where the screws are for the outer panels.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

all the nuts in that channel are out an i need to remove the hole assemble not just the glass im respraying it whit the glasses n panels are out

Glass needfs to come out first as the slides and glass keep the fram in position...

ahh sweet ill have a look 2morro

doesw anyone know how to remove a door pin one of min is missing an i have a spair set of doors i was gonna nick it off but everytime we start itting it it goes half up till it hits the spline an stops

Just change the complete hinge, they are only about $45-$50 new.
