G60 Long Range Fuel Tank

Post by Swerve »

Hey,

I scored a long range tank from ebay 6 months ago and trying to work out how to install it. I was told it replaced the existing tank but the mounting tabs are no where near the chassis.

Has anyone here installed a longe range tank in a G60 and have any photos ? Am looking at some other ideas so keen to see what other have done.

Well just had another play trying to work it out.

Looks like this is the way it was in unless it was also turned around 180 degrees but unlikely. I feel it was this way as the cut out on the right side looks like it was done for diff clearance, secondly the fuel filler is near the original hole, thirdly there is a line left right across the top of the tank which lines up with the support on the rear tub.

The front right, rear right, and rear left mounts line up with some part of the chassis. The front left sits 12â€
