38" Swamped Jabber.............
Soooo it is possible, lots of guard trimming needed
What would be better the D-44 with 33"s or the IFS with 38"s (both twin lockers) ?? Would be an interesting battle

some nasty looking trucks there...
so u thinking of going this way frank ???
Have u been keeping up with the 4x4wire thread lately?? Fair bit of talk on there about the ultimate suspension kit available from Thailand... I have been in touch with someone over there and there current prices aren't to painfull.. front kit is $1200 US or the full front n rear kit is around $1700US. This doesn't include freight etc...May be worth a rethink...

Yeah Rob, I was the one who posted the Ultimate Suspension link on Trail Talk about a year ago (Dave Christensen gave me the imfo )
Back then the cost was a lot more so they seemed to have dropped their prices heaps. I'm still not convinced of it's value though even at the current price. It really doesn't do anything different/better than a 2" s/l and 2" b/l does (to run 35"s). I've never been a big fan of those front diff drop down kits. When we enquired with Ultimate Suspension in Sydney back then they wanted around $6.5K + install for the kit and it wasn't engineered and still isn't for Oz.
No extra front wheel travel to speak of ??
It's also unclear if they have a kit for the Paj rear coils ??
If I ever change the front IFS it will be a SAS not a drop down kit.
But still those Tritons do look the goods

im the same at the moment.
not sure what to do with the suspension... the one thing i really have to consider is that i still want it to fit i my units underbuilding parking...
Im still considering a coil conversion on the rear and a body lift...
How do u find running 33's with standard diffs ???
Also, is a 3ltr Paj rear end(complete housing/diff etc with disc brakes) the same width as a triton ??What sorta dollars do they go for??
Im sure u know what ive got in mind...
Yeh i know, lots a questions again.... So far dreams are free
thanks frank...

Hehehe, I know what your thinking and I'm 99% sure it can be done.
Rear track width of 96 on Triton is 1435mm.
Rear track width of all GLX Gen 2 (91-99) Paj's = 1435mm (the GLS is 1480mm due to the wider wheels).
Rear track width of coil sprung Challenger = 1480mm.
I'd go a 3.0 V6 rear end as you can get an ARB locker
In terms of $$ I'd say around $1000 (disc to disc complete) if you shop around.
