I can get the uni chip for around 900 dollars........
That 216 cam sounds like my cuppa tee
My 3.5efi was abit to turtleish for me to start with the extractors and mandrel exhuast made a difference (considering changin to two 2.5" pipes instead of one) But on hills she still needs lots of revs to take advantage of her power, and also the more torque i have the better fuel economy I can expect
Dynatech 216 or 217 hmmmm MAL how much I am gonna go the 216 (I want all new lifters etc) so what sorta doe am i lookin at ?
More torque is does not necessartily relate to better fuel ecomony.
These motrs are more efficient in higher revs.
If you need torque you need cubic inches not cams , chips etc
i've driven an old 2 door that had been worked by john davis in western sydney. think it was out to above 5L. went really well. but i guess it would have cost a fair bit. The guy was selling the whole thing for 3G tho
Ben
get a pair of Wild cat heads .. stage 2 and a 217 dynatec cam from Rova craft in Perth .. that will give u what you need and change the lifters while ur there.
it will be like a new engine and dont forget extractors (pacemaker)
i am considering running duel 2.5"exhuast instead of the single ?
I have to have the exhaust modified again as the rear passenger side on full droop makes he aframe tap on the exhaust
