try some of the better 4b stores that do upgrades... thats where I would start, but then again, why not go with a better kit.. the 4.2 and 2.8 share the same intercooler..

Hmmm - makes you think a bigger/thicker one could be better for the 4.2 eh??

If its gotta be genuine, then you'd probably need to goto Nissan or get one off of a wreck at the wreckers...
Personally i'd buy an aftermarket cooler (pretty much any good front mount that can fit or something like a GTIR top mount depending on where you want it) and make the tubing up from stainless, probably cost a lot less and be more efficient.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

Sorry Herc, but the 2.8 ones are identical to the 4.2 just the plumbing is different. When Bruce had some problems with his blocked TD6 I/cooler he simply bolted up the 2.8 one he had to get him going again. I think the new common rail ZD30 ones are the same as the 2.8/4.2 intercoolers now, just as well seeing what a pile of pus the original ZD30 intercoolers are.
Regards Andrew.
